Over the past few months in our Spanish 4 class, we have been reading a book about la Llorona. It has been entirely in Spanish. The aim of this diary was to document the events of the book through the eyes of our main character, Laney.

Reflection:
In general, how has Spanish 4 gone for you this year? (great opportunity to highlight the context of fully online!!)
Spanish 4 has been as good as it could with full online learning. But in contrast to in-person, it pales in comparison. In-person their is community, online their is not. I feel I actually lost a bit of my Spanish this year actually, but this is not the fault of the teacher, just Covid-19.
What were your biggest successes? What are you most proud of?
I am proud of succeeding despite my setbacks and doing a good job.
What plans for future language learning do you have?
Though I enjoy Spanish, I will dive into German, a language I have already studied a bit and have found both interesting as well as easy. I also connect with German language and culture MUCH MUCH more than the Spanish language.
